They brought Sammy a darling little gift basket with a sleeper, wall sign about angels and baby boys, a super soft and cozy baby blanket that Emily's mom made (we've been getting LOTS of use out of that) and a cute crocheted ball and bib both made by her grandma.
Later that night, Grandpa Butch stopped by after the Twins game to meet his new grandson.
Once home, one of our homeschooling friends stopped over on Thursday morning and brought us a yummy chicken casserole, blueberry cobbler, and some homemade pancakes. It was such a luxury having dinner all made for us that night. We're so appreciative of her thoughtfulness!
On Friday, Joan, Rick and Emma came over to meet Sammy.
The boys really enjoyed their visit. They had a blast doing Olympic ribbon dancing with Joan. And it only looks like Rick hogged Samuel the whole time. Everyone got a turn to hold him.
We had a visit from the home health nurse that afternoon too. Found out Samuel is doing great and already back up to his birth weight at 4 days old. Yay for Mommy Milk!
Grandpa Butch came over too. He spent the night with us and got lots of time to cuddle with Sammy.

Sounds as if you had a wonderful, helpful houseful of vistors so far. Seriously send me your mailing address, we have something we want to send Sammy.
