Katie had her best friend Krystal spend the weekend. Yesterday morning they decided to clean the kitchen, and boy, did they clean! They scrubbed down all the counters, washed the fronts of the cabinets, cleaned the stove and the fronts of all the appliances, vacuumed the floors, and picked up a couple of other rooms. Now, today, they are reorganizing and cleaning the whole playroom in the basement. I told Russ we should have Krystal come every weekend! While they were getting all of that done, I was able to clean the mudroom, wash all the throw rugs, do a few loads of laundry, and scrub the floors with my FloorMate. We also hung a bunch more pictures on the wall and switched around some curtains. After having the house be such a disaster from me feeling sick, it is so nice to not only have it clean again, but have it really clean and newly decorated.
